The term "midget" is outdated and considered offensive. The appropriate term is "little person." People with dwarfism, a condition characterized by disproportionately short stature, have a lifespan comparable to the general population. There is no evidence to support the claim that little people live only 16 or 17 years.

While some health complications are associated with certain types of dwarfism, advancements in medical care have significantly improved the health and longevity of individuals with these conditions. Their life expectancy is not significantly different from that of the average person. Statements suggesting otherwise are inaccurate and perpetuate harmful stereotypes.
